Training Unit, Achievements

Training Plan and Achievement During 2012-13

TheTraining Unit (TU) has a target of conducting training courses for 960 LGED personsresulting more than 3145 person-days at a cost of Tk. 75.00 Lacs under revenuebudget during the FY 2012-13. In addition, TU has a proposition to receive fundfrom LGED projects to conduct national training courses for LGED persons.Moreover, the TU has also given commitment to conduct several project specifictraining courses on behalf of the projects. The TU has also planned to conductadditional training courses of Tk. 50.00 under revenue budget during thisfinancial year, 2012-13, provided revised budget is approved. There are 19(nineteen) LGED  projects (such as CDSP-IV,CRDP, ECRRP, Enhancing Resilience, GRDIRRDP, MIDPCR, MSU, Muktijhoddha,PSSWRSP, RRMAIDP, RERMP, Rubber Dam, RIIP-II, SRIIP, SWBRDP, SSWRDP-JICA,SCBRMP, UGIIP-II and UPPRP) that have also plan of  implementing training specific trainingcourses for LGED and other target participants . The following table will clarifythe detailed plan of train courses ing under Revenue and LGED Projects.







The TU has already conducted all the trainingcourses under revenue funding which were planned to be implemented during2012-13 at CTU at a cost of Tk. 42 Lacs whereas the courses designed for RTC underrevenue head will soon be completed. The CTU received funds from projects for theimplementation of national training courses and those were also implemented intime. On request from the projects, the Training Unit has also implementedproject specific courses at CTU and RTC.  The details of TU training courses implementedat CTU and RTC are given below:
